Are you an emerging artist looking to break into the music industry?

First Up with RBCxMusic wants to give three emerging Canadian musicians the chance to join a virtual workshop series featuring notable music industry leaders and experts. The workshop series, powered by The Remix Project, will cover a range of topics from song-writing, to the business of music and the emerging trends and changes within the industry.

The next workshop will be taking place on February 25th, 2021 at 7:30 PM EST, with more to come in the following weeks. 

First Up with RBCxMusic supports and promotes Canadian emerging artists by providing a platform for exposure, financial support, and mentorship opportunities.

Short Rules

THIS CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR EMERGING ARTISTS IN CANADA ONLY: 

  • Emerging (not entry-level) recording artist / vocalist 18-30+ years, all genres of music (rock, hip hop, r&b, pop, indie rock, blues, folk, heavy metal, afro-fusion, reggae) from across Canada. Any emerging professional in the music industry, such as a producer, instrumentalist, music manager, engineer, promoter, cultural curator, DJ, publisher.

No purchase required. Skill testing question required. There is a limit of one prize per person. The contest begins on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 2:00pm (EST), and ends Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 11:00am (EST).
